Transmission loss:
During DC transmission, compared with AC transmission, there is no reactive loss caused by inductance, capacitance, etc. and additional loss caused by skin effect. Especially in long-distance transmission or low-power transmission scenarios, DC transmission has lower losses and can more effectively transmit electric energy to the load end or energy storage equipment.
Power supply resilience:
Some DC solar power generation systems use a circulation system, which can continue to supply power by cutting off the distribution fault point even when the DC distribution fails. This feature enables the DC solar power generation system to ensure continuous power supply to key loads when dealing with some emergencies (such as local line failures), thereby improving the resilience of the entire power supply system.
